Description

A pair of the artist’s worn boots rests on a stack of atlases. From them grow two contrasting plants: a delicate orchid and a resilient cactus. The words “DO” and “DIE” appear across the boots, introducing a quiet tension between survival and risk.

Once used for walking across different places, the boots now become vessels for growth. Resting on atlases, they evoke journeys across geographies and identities. The orchid suggests fragility and care, while the cactus speaks of endurance and adaptation in unfamiliar terrain.

Together they form a reflection on movement, resilience, and the fragile balance between thriving and merely surviving.
